HOPE Connection is searching for additional licensed therapists to work part time who are skilled in facilitating groups and have knowledge of grief. Working as a group facilitator is an opportunity to support and educate grievers and the public about grief and how to heal.
Our licensed therapists work to bring to life the nonprofit’s mission –to help people whose lives have been touched by the death of a loved one – by providing individual and group support, educational programs and information that helps alleviate the pain of grief and promote healing. To that end, we provide training regarding grief and healing.
What is it like to be a HOPE Connection group facilitator? Read this account from Sheila Newton, Ph.D., LMFT about her time serving as one of HOPE’s licensed therapists.
