In Hebrew, the number 18 is “chai,” which means “Life.” So it is only appropriate that today – January 18, 2018 – is the official launch of HOPE Connection’s “A Celebration of Life” Bowl-a-thon.
This event is being sponsored by our longtime supporter, Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary, and will take place at Pinz Bowl, 12655 Ventura Blvd., Studio City 91604, on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 1 – 4 PM.
The money raised will help HOPE Connection expand bereavement counseling and healing services in Los Angeles and surrounding communities.
Several current and former members of HOPE Connection are sponsoring individual lanes to celebrate the life of a specific spouse or parent who has passed on. There is also a group lane, called “Team HOPE Connection.” It offers an opportunity for members to donate to HOPE in memory of their loved ones without sponsoring an entire lane. These names will be listed on the video screen above the group lane. I also invite you to join the team as a bowler, if you are so inclined, or to just come and cheer us all on.
